Crush the Kryptonite

We all have our reasons for doing what we do. What are yours?

If you are embarrassed to say, its time to change your reasons.

Reasoning pushes your mind to take action.  You found 50 great reasons to buy that new car, ignoring the fact that you have $2 to your name. Oh look, there are another 10 reasons to hate my job, 5 more to be mad at my wife. A few more to be lazy today, 100 more reasons to put off rising to your potential. Shall I continue?

Sit down and write , type, speak into a recorder, I don’t care what it is, but reflect on your reasons for what you do, Why do you do what you do? Is it for you or for someone else. When you go to work is it for the company, or for a paycheck? when you go to church is it for God or for your reputation? When I write to you is it for my image or because I want you to succeed? Be honest, check your reasons, Get rid of the kryptonite thats crushing your soul and replace it with pure, loving motives! You want to, You already feel more peace just thinking about it, You can, go do it!

What happens when you redefine your reasons is you set your priorities in line with your values. Over time our reasons, if not checked upon, become selfish and self serving and when we are called out to vocalize them, we usually cant, won’t, or lie about them because we are too embarrassed to say so. Be able to stand proud knowing what you do and the reasons behind it are positive.

Tip -

The New reason should be something positive that is based on the truth. I did say “based” on the truth. Its like a movie that is based on the truth and embellished to make it exciting and dramatic. Well, do this for yourself give you a New Reason to be successful at your business and embellish it enough to make it a worth while goal. Make the reason so freaking awesome that you even say “Really? Thats an audacious goal” If you are not saying that, then the reason is not big enough!
